How do I save a document on wordpad if its 'not responding'. Its crashed and has been for ages, I cant do anything with it.

Wordpad is one of the worse wordprocessors I have ever worked with. I know exactly what to do.. shoot it!

Enter in to your Document in wordpad and right click of the mouse to select all, then right click of the mouse to copy.

Leave the document (close it)...

Then right click of the mouse to move on to (new)...

Then create a new Document for wordpad...

Enter into that new one and right click of the mouse to paste.

Save the new document.

Then delete the old one that wasn't working...

..........................................................................

If that doesn't work, try reviewing what IS written/shown in the new document for the wordpad and fix/repair it.

Then try and save it.

If that still doesn't work, you might need to use a anti virus program for your computer/laptop.

THEN!!! If the anti virus program doesn't work to 'help to fix the wordpad problem'... then...

You might want to go into the settings of your computer/laptop and find/load a restore too restore a save spot for your computer/laptop...

IF STILL... That does NOT help to fix the wordpad problem....

Try turning off the power to the computer/laptop and removing the harddrive. Then buy a new harddrive and buy a new windows package for the computer/laptop.

Then it should work to help fix the problem for the wordpad.

Strangly enough IF all of that advice does NOT work to help...

You might want to ask a Priest to help your computer...

Hold a rare earth magnet really close to your hard drive, unplug the computer and put it in the microwave for 30 minutes. If that don't work then expose the motherboard and while plugged in sprinkle holy water on it and the power supply...lol. Kidding. Don't ever do any of those. The above mentioned should work though.

...why do I bother...just spent ten minutes cleaning my keyboard, not that there was anything too dirty on it...made a fresh coffee and sat down...yep...spilt it on the CLEAN keyboard...

May I suggest a day away from high voltage appliances? Maybe some nice old fashioned crossword puzzles or a simple sandwich for lunch or perhaps churn butter, plant some seeds, or paint something? ~grins~
